Tutorial:
Observing the color to gracefully metamorphose in water is a fascinating experience. Capturing this effect on camera requires freezing the action. In our previous tutorials we explored How to Photograph a Water Droplet without Flash and Liquid Pour and Splash Photography Technique Using Continuous Light. While in the past we used continuous lighting as our light source, today we have utilized studio flash.

Steps for creative Color Pouring Photography:

- F-stop set it anywhere from f8 to f32, You will need all the DOP you can get.
- Shutter Speed: Set to 1/250 sec or whatever maximum shutter speed requirement for you strobes (1/250 usually is a default for most strobes).
- ISO: keep ISO at 100 for smoothest color reproduction and minimum noise.
- Position Studio Strobes on each side of the fish tank to avoid glare in the glass.
- Set power output on your flash unit to achieve desired exposure. If using hot shoe flashes, set them to manual and control the exposure manually
